Ermineskin’s History

The Ermineskin neighbourhood is named after Cree Chief Ermineskin of Maskwacis and the Ermineskin Creek Nation. The bulk of homes were constructed in the 1970s, however infill development continued into the early 2000s. Century Park Light Rail Transit (LRT) station sits nearby, offering direct transit to downtown and other areas of the city. The surrounding development focuses on young professionals and urban families.
