West Meadowlark Park’s History
West Meadowlark Park was originally part of Jasper Place, a town that amalgamated with Edmonton in 1964. Construction began then, and two thirds of the residences were built in the 1960s. Construction continued until the 1980s, making this mature neighbourhood a staple in Edmonton’s identity.
