Welcome to Northmount
Northmount is a neighbourhood that gives you everything you could possibly need, and easy access to anything above and beyond those needs. The neighbourhood appeals to a wide range of residents, proving it is a wonderful place to raise a family and retire.
Most of the land in Northmount is residential. Three schools, a large park, community league facilities and the Dickensfield Extended Care Hospital account for all institutional land within the neighbourhood. North Town Centre, located in the neighbourhood’s southwest corner, has 270,000 square feet of commercial space and provides residents with access to shopping and services. More about Northmount...

Northmount’s History
Northmount’s development design is based on a modified grid pattern and features a distinct separation on land use groups: residential, institutional and commercial. Nearly 70 percent of the land was reserved for homes, which were predominantly built during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Sufficient areas of land were reserved for service establishments and recreation.
